But shoes like this can be kept your whole life with good care (due to the extremly high build quality and great leather) whereas some women&#39;s shoes/heels hardly justify their price solely based on the material and construction. The cordovan Tricker&#39;s I linked at the very end combine the best leather possible with the impeccabled good year-welt construction of Tricker&#39;s and that&#39;s something you just don&#39;t get with lower priced shoes. There are only two leather tanneries in the world left that still produce genuine cordovan shell. That fact plus the premium quality over calf leather adds to the higher price.
