Bits And Bobs #41

T-Shirt by Jil Sander, Trousers by American Apparel, Jacket by Whyred, Shoes by Whyred, Straw Hat by ASOS, Vintage Bag

Jil Sander was so kind and sent me this t-shirt a couple of weeks ago and I liked it so much, I was more than happy to include it in one of my outfit posts in return. The weather was so cold that I had to wait several weeks though. The last couple days were perfect. I'm currently applying at the art school in Zurich for photography and it seems they liked my portfolio and the assignment we had to turn in, because they invited me for the interviews. Besides that, one of the main things I do right now is enjoying the sun at my favourite café while reading a book. Life can be so beautiful.

  5. gah. I can't get over how intense your simple style is! you really opened my eyes in regards to style-I see it in a totally new light. I finally understand that simple can mean beautiful and doesn't necessarily equal "boring" or "plain". Thank you for enlightening me! by the way, I've been following your blog for a while, this is just a buildup of all my thoughts on how inspirational-wait,that sounds too tacky-so I'll say coolio- you are <3

  21. Olson: No, not really. Maybe it's the cut of your trousers. They shouldn't be too skinny. I prefer straight slim cut trousers or those that are wide at the hip and get narrower from the knee down.

M.Avila: Canon 5Dmk2, but the colours are done in post. I recommend getting a camera with full frame sensor for serious people/portrait related work.

  23. Hej Pascal. Great style, really! I've been following your blog for a while and really appreciate your work. You mentioned Zurich in this post. Speaking of that city, can you recommend any vintage/secondhand, alternative fashion shops/boutiques nearby?!
    Thanks for your reply.

  25. I agree with Kate above. I can't believe how well you prove that clothing doesn't have to be loud and eccentric in order to stand out as looking beautiful. Your style is simple and elegant in this look. Those trousers look great and I LOVE your shoes.
It's great that the warmer weather is back and we can ditch our socks! Those Whyred ones really suit the sockless look.
