Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 Ready-To-Wear (pictures via style.com)
Lee Alexander McQueen, 1969-2010. The fashion world lost one of its geniuses yesterday.
i read about this in the newspaper. it was so sad because he commited suicide because he couldnt handle his mom's death (or so i heard) :(he really was such a creative man
I didn't find out until after I came home from class in the afternoon. It saddens me that a wondrous imaginative designer is gone.http://blackandgoldchains.blogspot.com
:( This is really saddening and heart-breaking. He was so talented.
Nobody, except for a tiny minority, is irreplaceble in the fashion industry.
So so sad, his mum would not have wanted him to do this. He must have been feeling so sad and alone. I hope he is with her now. We have lost a true talent. rip.
so sadhe was just a man, with human problemskissWatching the waves
One of my favourite McQueen collections, regality and demure integrated together to create this balanced look of the contemporary avant-garde Queen.
I'm sure he is with his beloved mother. Nevertheless, I think the fashion industry is not doing enough to nurture great talents like him..sad. May you rest in peace Alexander Mcqueen
